All The Oscars Nominees You Need To Know

The 88th Academy Awards take place tonight in Los Angeles.

It's been quite a year for film with many exceptional movies being released. This year's Best Picture category is one of the toughest to call in many years. Many are saying that this year could finally be the year where Leonardo DiCaprio wins his first Oscar. Ireland is well represented at this year's awards with Room being nominated for Best Picture, Best Producer, Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay. Michael Fassbender is also nominated for Best Actor for his role as Steve Jobs in Steve Jobs. Saoirse Ronan is also in contention to win Best Actress for her role in Brooklyn.
