Another Blow For X Factor As Caroline Flack Officially Quits

The news comes after Olly Murs and Nick Grimshaw also leave the show.
It has been confirmed that Caroline Flack will not return for the next series of the X Factor.
The presenter has become the latest star to quit the talent show, following in the footsteps of her co-host Olly Murs.
Flack said, "I have had a brilliant time working on The X Factor over the last few years and hosting the main show was just fantastic - I made some amazing friends. I'm looking forward to carrying on working with the team over at ITV"
Olly Murs revealed he was to leave the show to focus on his music and had also agreed before the start of the last series that he wouldn't want to host the show without Flack by his side.
Rumours began to circulate last week that Flack may not be making a return to the show after it was claimed that she was set to take part in a Chicago revival in The West End as well as hosting Love Island for a second time.
ITV's Entertainment commissioning editor Peter Davey said, "We thank Caroline and Olly for all their hard work on The X Factor and the contribution that they've made over the past few years. we look forward to working with Caroline again soon and wish Olly the very best as he returns to concentrate on his music career."
Judge Nick Grimshaw also announced last week that he has stepped down from his role on The X Factor and that the rest of the judging panel is up in the air.
Interesting times ahead for the show!
The X Factor will return later this year for it's 13th series on ITV.
