Billboard Music Awards Round-Up
One of music's biggest nights took place in Las Vegas last night.
The 2015 Billboard Music Awards took place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas last night with the world's biggest music stars in attendance.
Hosted by rapper Ludacris, the awards saw performances from the likes of Ed Sheeran, Hozier, Kanye West, Meghan Trainor and even Britney Spears to name but a few.
As we mentioned earlier today, Taylor Swift debuted her brand new star-studded music video for her latest single "Bad Blood" featuring Kendrick Lamar. The video sees Swift in an action-movie themed video fighting with the likes of Ellie Goulding, Jessica Alba, Selena Gomez and even Cindy Crawford. You can check the video out right here.
As well as debuting her new video, Swift was the big winner on the night taking home the awards for Overall Top Artist, Top Female Artist, Top 100 Artist, Top Digital Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album, Top Streaming Video for Shake It Off and the Billboard Chart Achievement Award. An impressive haul to say the least! Taylor's new boyfriend, Calvin Harris, took the Top Dance/Electronic Artist award.
The Irish were well represented by Hozier with the Wicklow native performing Take Me To Church and also winning two awards for Top Rock Artist and Top Rock Song for Take Me To Church.
Ed Sheeran performed his latest single Bloodstream but failed to win any awards, losing out to friends Taylor Swift & Sam Smith.
Britney Spears performed Pretty Girls with Iggy Azalea.
The One Direction boys were also in attendance at the awards ceremony. The four-piece accepted awards for Top Touring Artist and Top Duo/Group. As they accepted their award, Liam thanked the fans and their "brother Zayn".
