Bono has launched campaign with animation series to promote Covid-19 vaccines
U2 singer Bono has launched an animated series with several other leading stars.
Bono recruited Penelope Crus, Michael Sheen, and David Oyelowo for Pandemica, the new series that promotes the importance of making Covid-19 vaccines available to the poorest countries in the world.
Pandemica shows the animated characters in areas and situations where they cannot access the vaccine. "Pandemica's animated world animates a simple truth - that where you live shouldn't determine whether you get these life-saving shots," Bono said.
"Even while many of us still wait our turn, we need to commit to making sure that billions of people around the world aren't left at the back of the line. It's the right thing to do, obviously, but it's also the only way out of this pandemic for all of us.
"If the vaccine isn't everywhere, this pandemic isn't going anywhere. We're all trapped in Pandemica, but only some can get out," he added.
The 7 episode series voiced by Bono is now available to watch on ONE Campaign's YouTube channel.
