Boy George Confirms He Won't Be Returning To The Voice UK

The singer revealed he will not be appearing on the new series.
The singer announced he wouldn't be returning to the talent show, through a tweet in reponse to a fan question.
Not doing this season of 'The Voice on ITV but sending @iamwill my love. Watch this space for what I am up to! :) https://t.co/P9PTLUS7fv

The news comes just after fellow coach will.i.am confirmed he WILL return to the revamped show which has moved to ITV for the next three seasons. He has also agreed to take part in the spin-off show The Voice Kids which will air for two seasons on ITV. When making the announcement he made reference to the Brexit saga.
"I'm delighted to be continuing The Voice UK on ITV and being a voice of direction and guidance for the usual suspects," he said. "And I'm thrilled to add The Voice Kids to the mix. I know The Voice switched to ITV, but I'm not going to BREXIT The Voice UK. I'm happy to make ITV my home now. I love the UK."
Also confirmed to return to the show is host Emma Willis. However her co-host, former JLS star Marvin Humes will be parting ways with The Voice.
There is much speculation over what stars will fill the remaining three red chairs. Rumoured to take up the positions are the likes of Paul McCartney, Robbie Williams, Katy B, Jennifer Hudson, Kylie Minogue and Rachel Stevens who is already a coach on the Irish version of the show.
Singer Jess Glynne recently said she was approached to appear as a coach on the show but she turned it down as it's not something she wants to do at the moment.
