Brendan O'Carroll To Host New BBC One Show

Brendan O'Carroll will be taking on a new role in an upcoming BBC show!

The Mrs Brown's Boys creator will be de-wigging for the new series as he will host a brand new quiz show for the British broadcaster called For Facts Sake.

The show will "celebrate ordinary people and their extraordinary facts" with two teams competing against each other, with each captained by a Mrs Brown's Boys cast member.

Speaking about the new show, 62-year-old O'Carroll said "I'm really excited to be doing a show where I don't have to wear a bra!

"When we did the pilot it was great fun. If we can capture that on the screen we are all in for a good time."

Director of Content at the BBC, Charlotte Moore, said: "I can't wait for Brendan O'Carroll to bring his own inimitable warmth and wit to a brand new comedy panel show for BBC One."

The series is set to air later in 2018.
