Clarence House Announces Prince Harry's Engagement

It has been announced that Prince Harry is engaged.
The Prince (33), who is fifth in line to the throne is set to wed Los Angeles born Meghan Markle (36) who is most known for her role as Rachel Zane in popular legal television series Suits. The pair have been in a relationship for over a year and made their first official public appearance together in September at the Invictus Games.
The news was announced in a statement by Clarence House revealing that the wedding will take place next Spring and the couple will reside in Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace.

Reacting to the news of the engagement, Harry's brother William, the Duke of Cambridge and his wife Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge said: 'We are very excited for Harry and Meghan. It has been wonderful getting to know Meghan and to see how happy she and Harry are together.'
His father, Prince Charles said on behalf of himself and his wife Camilla The Duchess of Cornwall, "We're thrilled. We're both thrilled. We hope they'll be very happy indeed."
Markle's parents also issued a statement following the announcement saying that they are "incredibly happy for Meghan and Harry" and "To see her union with Harry, who shares the same qualities is a source of great joy."
Harry and Meghan are due for a photocall later this afternoon at Kensington Palace and will also take part in a broadcast interview to be aired this evening.
