Cork Taxi Company Makes Light Of Government Controversy

Cork-owned Satellite Taxis have taken a playful dig at Junior Minister Dara Murphy.
Junior Minister Dara Murphy has been in the news recently following a less-than-popular decision to enlist the help of the Gardai in driving him to Dublin after his car broke down on the motorway near Fermoy (he also spoke on The Neil Prendeville Show last Friday, find the podcast here).
The story was that efforts to arrange for a taxi to make the trip were unsuccessful and that the Junior Minister had no choice but to reach out to the Gardai for aid.
It has since been reported that they made contact with a local taxi company but upon learning just how much the trip would cost they decided against that option.
Cork taxi company Satellite Taxis were quick to react with a playful dig at the situation, perhaps in the future Minister Murphy might avoid such controversy!
