Following the success of the first #CorkLovesMusic night in Coughlan's Live last January, #CorkLovesMusic, in association with First Music Contact (FMC), present the second installment in a series of talks and performances, taking place throughout the year.

On the afternoon of Thursday 27th April, Bunker Vinyl & Studio present one-on-one music clinics with Angela Dorgan, CEO of First Music Contact (Hard Working Class Heroes, Music in Ireland), offering industry advice to Cork musicians. Clinics are free, however places are strictly limited, secure your place by emailing: corklovesmusic@gmail.com

Later that evening, on stage at the Village Hall vintage shop on Patrick's Quay, #CorkLovesMusic present a discussion on music and media - the changing faces of music journalism and radio, the place of Irish artists in media both domestic & further afield, and media relations strategies for artists and producers. Hosts include local music blogger The G-Man; DJ, blogger and promoter Siobhán Brosnan; writer and editor Jamie Coughlan, plus a plethora of musical performances from Lowli, Spekulativ Fiktion, Circuits of Heaven and much more to be announced.

This unique collaboration is designed to offer career advice from FMC, inspiration and network opportunities through the talks and panels, as well as the opportunity to discover the wealth of talent in Cork’s Music scene on a regular basis. Visit the Cork Loves Music facebook page for updates.
