WATCH: Demi Lovato Covers Take Me To Church
The "Cool For The Summer" star took on Hozier's most famous song.
American songstress Demi Lovato was on BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge and decided to take on Hozier's anthemic Take Me To Church.
The Live Lounge is famous for bands and artists visiting and covering another artist's song.
Lovato is a fan of Hozier's music and had this to say about Take Me To Church: "The first time I heard it, it was on the radio. And I was like, 'Wow, this is on pop radio.' And it's not your typical pop song -- in fact, it doesn't sound like a pop song, but the term 'pop' means popular, so it is a pop song. I think I even tweeted, 'Thank God that somebody put this on the radio, because this is incredible music."
The main man himself tweeted about the cover today and said he was flattered by Demi's choice of song.
Hey! Huge thank you to @ddlovato for doing this gorgeous cover of TMTC in the #LiveLounge today. Very Flattered. https://t.co/YbniLhsM58

Hozier was in the Live Lounge himself last week where he performed a more upbeat, funkier version of of Sam Smith's Lay Me Down.
