George Ezra Announces Irish Dates
George Ezra has announced he will be playing in Ireland on his upcoming tour.
The Budapest singer-songwriter has taken somewhat of a hiatus since the success of his debut album, Wanted on Voyage, but it looks like a return is on the cards as he has announced his Top Secret tour!
Speaking about the upcoming series of gigs, Ezra said, “There is no need for me to point out the fact that I’ve been fairly quiet over the last year. But I’d like to reassure you all that I’ve been beavering away at what will one day be my second record. It took a second to work out what it was that I wanted to write about, and then how to approach the writing and recording process.”
“I don’t want to give too much away regarding the record,” he adds, “but I do want to invite you all to join me on my first tour back. is tour will be like no other that I have done before for many reasons, but mostly because it will be the rst time that a lot of brand new songs are played live. ere will be a few new band members and we will be working out what the best set list is and what the best way to present the songs will be.”
“COME AND JOIN US! But don’t let the cat out of the bag, this tour is top secret...”
Ezra will be playing the following dates around the country:
Friday 26 May - Limelight, Belfast
Saturday 27 May - Millennium Forum, Derry
Monday 29 May - Olympia, Dublin
Tuesday 30 May - Milk Market, Limerick
Pre-sale tickets for the tour go on sale this Wednesday April 5th and general release happens on Friday at 9am. Full details can be found at Ticketmaster or GeorgeEzra.com
