Glee Star Mark Salling Dead At 35
Disgraced Glee star Mark Salling has been found dead at the age of 35
His lawyer confirmed the news that the actor who played Noah 'Puck' Puckerman in the hit TV show had passed away.
Salling was awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to the possession of child sex abuse images last December. Before his death he was on bail after 50,000 child abuse images were found in his possession after a tip off from one of his ex-girlfriends. His sentencing was due in March after striking a plea deal in October of last year. According to reports it was expected that Salling would spend at least four to seven years in prison with 20 years of supervised release.
Although the cause of his death is not officially confirmed it is believed the actor took his own life by hanging himself. According to TMZ his body was found by a riverbed near his home in Sunland-Tujunga in Los Angeles.
As part of his bail Salling was not permitted to live within view of any school yards, parks, public swimming pools, playgrounds, video arcades and any other places regularly attended by people under the age of 18. He was also put on the sex offenders register.
Salling played Puck in Glee from 2009 to 2015
