Indiependence Add More Acts To Line Up
Indiependence Music & Arts Festival has announced more acts!
UK indie legends, Primal Scream, are the latest headliner added to Indiependence Music & Arts Festival, taking place on August Bank Holiday Weekend at Deer Farm, Mitchelstown, Co Cork this summer. They join a growing line-up that already features Walking on Cars, Jake Bugg, Cast, Le Galaxie, Sigala and a whole new cohort of stand out Irish talent.
Primal Scream have released some ground breaking albums (Screamadelica, Vanishing Point, XTRMNTR) over an amazing career that has seen the band meld garage rock to psychedelia, indie pop to electonica, in a constantly evolving collective with a huge Irish fanbase. INDIE18 offers up its annual top class Irish and international mix and today announces more excellent acts alongside an already top class bill.
Back with their first album in four years, Delorentos return to Deer Farm, with other INDIE favourites And So I Watch You From Afar and Little Hours, while INDIE18 sees Circa Waves, Sam Fender, Aine Cahill, Ryan McMullan Bad Bones, DAY_S, LOAH, Ailbhe Reddy, Marc O’Reilly, Roe, Fontaines DC, Brass Phantoms, True Tides, Inhaler and Thanks Brother all joining the bill.
There’s high quality accommodation at INDIE18 with the arrival of Pink Moon Camping, offering a variety of comfortable sleeping options; complete with hot private showers, 'posh toilets', fresh water and sinks. Tickets are also on sale for the INDIE VIP Garden, which offers a secluded chill out area with private bars and entertainment.
Tickets have been selling fast for INDIE18 with several tiers for the fesitival already sold out. Other acts already announced for Deer Farm include King Kong Company, HamsandwicH, Mylo, Everything Everything, Tom Grennan, Wild Youth Le Boom and The Blizzards. Weekend Camping Tickets are currently available.
Now in its 13th year, Indiependence has grown into one of Ireland’s biggest and most loved events, drawing international acts like Basement Jaxx, Public Enemy, De La Soul and Editors to play alongside the best names in Irish music, in the scenic foothills of the Galtee Mountains. There are more announcements in store over the coming months!
