Irish Actress Tipped For Oscar Glory
We know it's early to call but critics are raving about this performance!
Ruth Negga could be Ireland's next big Oscar winner!
The actress who would be most known here for her role as Rosie in the RTÉ crime-drama series Love/Hate has been making waves abroad, even appearing on AMC's Preacher.
Negga's most recent movie 'Loving' has been winning the hearts of audiences and critics alike and as a result has been named as a frontrunner for an Oscar nod.
Loving is a Jeff Nichols directed movie and is the story of Mildred and richard Loving who are plantiffs in a 1967 court case surrounding inter-racial marriages.
The Limerick native has been tipped to be nominated for a Best Actress Academy award by The Hollywood Reporter's Scott Feinberg as well as receiving positive feedback from the Venice and Toronto Film Festivals.
