ITV Announce There Will Be TWO Series Of Love Island In 2020

It's official, there will be two series of Love Island in 2020.
Yes, that's right - double the commitment.
You won't have to wait a whole year anymore for your next fill of the TV show as it's expected to return in January 2020 for a six week long winter series.
Contestants will be jetted off to a new villa in South Africa for the new winter series. The summer series will then return to Europe later in the year after this year's series broke the 4 million viewer mark for the first time and has received over 2 billion impressions on Twitter.
Paul Mortimer, Head of Digital Channels and Acquisitions at ITV said:"off the back of a record-breaking year, we're delighted to be bringing an extra series of our biggest and sunniest show to the 2020 schedule.
"Love Island has proven yet again to be the perfect format that engages younger audiences.
"In response to this viewer appetite, a new batch of young singletons will deliver some highly anticipated post-Christmas romance and drama from our new and luxurious location."
