James Vincent McMorrow Teases New Music
James Vincent McMorrow has teased what could be new music.
The Dubliner tweeted a link to his website last night with just the phrase "pay close attention".
When you enter the website you are greeted with the phrase once again and the morse code . . – – – / – . . . . / . – . – . – / . . . . . / . – . – . – / . – – – – / – – . . ., when translated means 26.5.17 leading fans to believe there is a new album or EP on the way on the 26th of this month.
After clicking on the phrase you are brought to a 15 song Spotify playlist created by McMorrow featuring artists such as Randy Newman, Frank Ocean, The National and Neil Young. Included throughout the playlist are short clips titled in more code which could be snippets of the upcoming music.
The new music will come off the back of McMorrow's successful 2016 album We Move that featured singles such as Rising Water and Get Low.
James Vincent McMorrow will play Dublin's Trinity College Summer Series on July 7th and will be supported by All Tvvins.
Here's the mysterious playlist posted by McMorrow:
