LISTEN: Harry Styles Has Released His First Solo Single
One Direction's Harry Styles has unveiled his debut solo single.
{POLL_14}
The highly anticipated single was teased a couple of weeks ago with a short video showing Styles opening a door and the date April 7th.
Therefore today is the day that fans have been waiting for. Styles is the fourth of the five original One Direction line up to release solo material, following in the footsteps of Zayn Malik who left the group before their official hiatus to pursue a successful solo career as well as Mullingar's Niall Horan whose single This Town has enjoyed chart success all over the world and Louis Tomlinson who released a collaboration with DJ and producer Steve Aoki. The remaining fifth member, Liam Payne is also working on solo material but currently has his hands full with his new son with former Girls Aloud member and X Factor judge Cheryl who was born a few weeks ago.
A video for Styles' debut solo work is reportedly in the works as he was spotted filming a scene where he was hanging out of a helicopter, leading people to believe it is for his new music. There are no more clues as to when more music from Harry will be released but he is scheduled to appear on Saturday Night Live on April 15th where musical artists on the show typically play two songs so there is a possibility we could be hearing more songs then!
