LISTEN: The Academic Release New Single 'Northern Boy'

Mullingar is known for it's musical talents, one being the fantastic The Academic who gained much attention from their last single 'Different' which was played across the airwaves in Ireland and the UK.
The band opened for Kodaline and Noel Gallagher at this year's Live At The Marquee festival and also opened for Pixies in Cork in 2014.
The Academic consists of Craig Fitzgerald on lead vocals/guitar with Stephen Murtagh on bass, Matt Murtagh on lead guitar and Dean Gavin on drums.
The boys signed a worldwide publishing deal with Global Publishing which could only mean exciting things ahead for the four-piece as the company have the likes of The Vaccines and Ellie Goulding on their books.
Today The Academic released a brand new song called Northern Boy and we already love it! You can listen to it right here.
