More Heartbreak For Celine Dion As Brother Passes Away
The news comes two days after the passing of her husband.
Daniel Dion has died at the age of 59 from cancer.
The brother of singer Celine Dion suffered from throat cancer which also took the life of her husband Rene Angelil only two days ago at the age of 73.
Celine had tweeted details of her late husband's funeral less than a day ago before her brother's passing.
Claudette, one of Daniel and Celine's sisters, told Le Journal de Montreal, "He was ready and he no longer suffers".
Celine is currently in residency in Las Vegas. She has cancelled her shows at the Colosseum this weekend following the deaths of her loved ones.
