More New Acts Announced For INDIE16 And New VIP INDIE Garden Tickets!
Indiependence Music & Arts Festival continues to add to its line-up with more great Irish acts for INDIE16, taking place at Deer Farm, Mitchelstown, Co Cork on July 29-31
Irish indie legends The Frank & Walters lead the way with rising new artists such as Wyvern Lingo, Otherkin and Bitch Falcon also added to the bill.
Just announced today, they'll be joined by Mind Riot, CC Smugglers, Picture This, Elm, Fang Club, Elephant, Wolves of Youth, State Lights, Bairbre Anne, Model Aeroplanes. Go Swim, Barq, Neon Wolf, Parliament Square, Jupe, Danny Battles, Brave Giant, Third Smoke and Cider Wasps.
An already strong INDIE16 bill includes headliners Editors, The Kooks, Bell X1 and Walking on Cars, plus Idlewild, Ash, Hudson Taylor, The Strypes, The Blizzards, Brian Deady and more.
A new feature at Indiependence is the new VIP Garden upgrade. Upgrade tickets will be €50 including booking fee (a Weekend Ticket is required) and will ensure camping in a spacious private camping area with free showers and porcelain toilets. In the VIP Arena, ticket holders will have access to the INDIE Garden, with chill out areas, comfy seats, a full subsidised bar, free power points to charge your phone, music from Under A Plastic Cloud and more of those lovely porcelain toilets!
Three tiers of early bird tickets for INDIE16 have already sold out, with weekend camping tickets for the festival now on sale at €119. INDIE fans will be happy to see the return of the Beer Hall Stage, Comedy & Spoken Word, the Silent Disco, Festi-Huts and a wide variety of food options over the course of the weekend, with more announcements coming soon.
