One Direction To Split

We can already hear hearts breaking!
According to The Sun, One Direction are set to split in March 2016.
The four piece which consists of Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson are to go their separate ways to concentrate on solo projects. The news comes only months after fifth member Zayn Malik left the group to be "a normal 22 year old" even though the band vowed to stay together following Malik's departure.
A band source told The Sun: "The guys have been together for five years, which is an incredible run for any boyband. They fully deserve to have at least a year to work on their own projects. There is absolutely no bad blood between them and they are all 100 per cent behind the decision".
The band are currently working on a fifth studio album, their first since becoming a four piece. It is thought that there will not be a tour following the fifth album meaning their current tour will be their last.
The source claimed that the plan was on the table "with or without Zayn". "Of course they would have preferred that he had stayed in the band, but they would have taken this extended hiatus even if he hadn't left", they said.
it is believed that the decision was finalised at a meeting in London last week.
There is huge interest in Harry in Hollywood, Louis is interested in working on the X Factor as well as becoming a dad for the first time with Liam wanting to concentrate on song writing and producing. All members are said to have massive opportunities ahead of them.
The band formed in 2010 on the X Factor after each member auditioned as solo artists with Simon Cowell managing them since the show finished.
Their current single Drag Me Down is out now.
