The Eleventh Season of Modern Family Will Be It's Last

Modern Family is coming to an end!
The show has been on the air for ten years but it has been revealed that the eleventh season will be it's last.
Series ten was set to be the original final batch of episodes but ABC have now announced that all of the original cast of the show will return for one final season with their network as the original owners of the sitcom, 20th Century Fox, will see their assets absorbed by a $72 billion deal.
Speaking about the news, ABC's president Karey Burke said "In it's final season, there will be more milestone events that anyone who has beena fan of the series won't want to miss."
There are already talks of spin-off shows but no solid plans have been made at the moment.
Since it's release, Modern Family has won a Golden Globe, four SAG Awards and five Emmy's for Outstanding Comedy Series.
