The first trailer for Love Island 2021 is here
The first sign of summer is here.
It's been a long time coming, but the first trailer for this summer's Love Island is finally here.
In the snippet, we see the the show's host Laura Whitmore in a stunning red jumpsuit strut confidentially through a sea of (potentially) singletons before facing the camera.
As she does, a voice-over bellows, "This is not a drill."
Laura shared the snippet on her Instagram last night with the caption, "You ready?"
Even though the trailer doesn't give much away, it's certainly exciting to have confirmation of the upcoming season. After months of speculation over this year's Love Island, it's great to have visual confirmation.
Earlier this year, there were doubts over filming locations due to Covid-19 travel restrictions. Numerous sources reported that the reality dating show may take place in the UK. However, it is currently looking likely that filming in Majorca this summer will go ahead.
According to the Independent, the hit dating show will return to our screens on 28 June on ITV2, and it's shaping up to be a great series.
