The Maccabees Announce Split
The band have decided to call it a day.
Indie rock band The Maccabees have announced their plans to split. The five piece have been together since 2004 and have released four albums with the most recent, Marks to Prove It, being released in 2015 followed on from 'Given to the Wild' (2012), 'Wall of Arms' (2009) and debut 'Colour It In' (2007).
In a statement posted on their social media channels the band thanked fans for their support over the years and revealed their plans for farewell shows later in 2016.
