Two Cork Acts Nominated For Choice Music Prize
The Choice Music Prizes celebrates the best in Irish music.
The shortlist for Irish Album of the Year was announced today with ten albums chosen to battle it out for the €10,000 prize which will be announced on Thursday March 8th at Dublin's Vicar Street.
Two Cork acts, Talos and Marlene Enright, have been given the nod for their albums Wild Alee and Placemats and Second Cuts.
Last year hip-hop trio Rusangano Family took the top prize for their album Let The Dead Bury The Dead.
Below is the full list of albums nominated with the shortlist for Irish Song Of The Year being revealed on Wednesday January 31st.
