U2 Announce Irish Tour Dates
The Irish dates come at the end of a European Tour.
U2 have announced six dates in Ireland as part of their Innocence + Experience European Tour.
The concerts will be a homecoming for the band with two nights in Belfast and four nights in Dublin.
The band will take to the stage in Belfast's SSE Arena on the 18th & 19th of November and the 3Arena in Dublin on the 23rd, 24th, 27th & 28th November.
The Innocence + Experience Tour is designed for a certain venue with The Edge revealing that there was a risk the tour wouldn't come to Ireland due to the lack of a suitable venue.
Speaking during the week, The Edge said, "This show is designed for a type of venue and unfortunately there isn't one, certainly in the south. I think there might be one in the Belfast area, so we're looking at that as well. But you can't invent a venue. It's either there or it isn't. So, we're doing a lot of head-scratching right now to see if we can figure out something."
Tickets go on sale next Monday the 14th from 9am and are limited to two per purchase. Tickets range from €30 to €185 and are available through Ticketmaster.
