WATCH: 16 Year Old Cork Student Impresses The Voice UK Mentors

Aine Carroll wowed the judges with her performance.

Cork's very own Aine Carroll took to the stage like a pro on last night's episode of The Voice UK. The 16 year old performed her own version of Karmin's "Brokenhearted" for the four renowned mentors in a bid to get at least one of them to turn their chair to get her through to the next round.

Aine was supported by her mum at the auditions and when asked what would it be like if Aine had to move away, she said that she already had her bags packed for her!

Aine's fantastic performance won over Boy George, Paloma Faith and Ricky Wilson who all turned to pitch for Aine to join their team.

The Cork teenager chose Ricky Wilson of The Kaiser Chiefs as her mentor after he said he was 'amazed' by her performance: "George is right, just look. I was amazed by it. I didn’t know you were that young as it feels like you have an old soul – you’re a soul singer."

We're wishing Aine the best of luck for the next round of the competition!
