Beyonce rarely makes appearances on awards shows so when rumours started circulating that she would perform at this year's BET Awards ceremony audiences were hoping that Queen Bey would indeed grace the stage.
Sure enough the former Destiny's Child singer took to the stage to perform her powerful single Freedom from her recent Lemonade album. The song features Kendrick Lamar with the artist also making an appearance during Beyonce's performance.
The pair put on a thrilling performance before Beyonce had to swiftly leave to return to London as she is in the middle of her Formation World Tour.
Beyonce will play Croke Park in Dublin on July 9th.
