WATCH: Louis Walsh Dances in New Cadbury's Advert

Yes sir, he can boogie.

Louis Walsh has a lot of spare time on his hands now that his stint on The X Factor is over. Therefore the natural thing to do would be to appear in a brand new ad for Cadbury's chocolate.

The 63-year-old follows in the footsteps of Johnny Giles and Eamon Dunphy who previously appeared in the #FreeTheJoy campaign. Walsh dons the purple shirt and socks and dances around the kitchen to 70s dance hit, "Yes Sir, I Can Boogie" while singing into a whisk.

When talking about how the idea came about, the music mogul said: "I said I loved it and if you are doing another one I will do it for you and that's how it happened. Then the following week they called me with an idea for the ad and I said what the hell"

He said "There is a bit of madness in me, definitely, and I don't like normality and I like the song and the video is out there"

The ad comes just ahead of the start of the 12th season of The X Factor, the first year where Walsh will not be included on the judging panel.

Louis is said to be concentrating on his newest Irish boyband, HomeTown, following his departure from the reality show.
