WATCH: New Trailer For Ted Bundy Movie Starring Zac Efron Is Released
A new trailer for the upcoming movie Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Vile and Evil has been released.
As previously revealed the rights to the movie has been bought by Netflix following the success of the recent Ted Bundy Tapes docu-series on the platform.
The film, starring Zac Efron as Bundy, is directed by Oscar nominated filmmaker Joe Berlinger who also directed the documentary series for the streaming giant.
The movie is based on the memoirs of Elizabeth Kloefer, Bundy's former girlfriend. Set in Seatle in 1969 where Bundy and Kloepfer first met, we see the couple living a seemingly normal life while Ted is committing horrific murders behind her back.
Before his execution Bundy admitted to murdering over 30 women in the 1970's but an exact figure was never disclosed, therefore the figure could be much higher.
The film is set to be available on Netflix from May 3rd.
