WATCH: Noel Gallagher's Irish Mammy Is Just Like Your Irish Mammy

We all know Irish mammies love a good gossip and Noel Gallagher's is no different!
The singer songwriter, who turned 50 yesterday, was on Absolute Radio in the UK over the weekend to celebrate the milestone birthday.
While on the show the topic of family came up and Noel couldn't help but make reference to his mother Peggy who originally hails from Co. Mayo.
In an amusing anecdote, the Oasis star told of how his mother would call him to tell him in a long-winded fashion that a neighbour had died, just as many others do here in Ireland.
He told the station "My mum is obsessed with people dying. She'll call me up and she'll say, 'Wait till I tell ya!''"
