The John Lewis Christmas ad has become one of the most anticipated things about the lead up to the festive season.
This year we see Excitable Edger the Dragon who means well but is quite accident prone.
Edgar causes chaos in his village with his fiery breath including melting an ice rink and burning down the Christmas tree.
The ad was filmed in Budapest with an extras cast of over 100 people. This year the soundtrack to the ad is a cover of REO Speedwagon's 'Cant Fight This Feeling' by Bastille.
The UK department store spends around €8 million a year on it's festive campaign.
