WATCH: Trailer For Barack Obama Biopic Released
Netflix have released the trailer for the highly anticipated "Barry".
Barack Obama's second term as President is drawing to close and after 8 years as the President of the United States he is set to move out of the White House to make way for President-Elect Donald Trump.
However Netflix are ready to fill the Barack Obama shaped hole in our lives with their newest biopic "Barry" which is based around a young Obama.
Directed by Vikram Gandhi and starring Devon Terrell, Ashley Judd, Anna Taylor-Joy, Ellar Coltrane and Jason Mitchell, we see Obama at Columbia University and learn about his relationship with his peers and parents.
After premiering at the Toronto Film Festival, critics said the film was a moving story about race and identity in America.
According to Netflix, "Barry" follows “a pivotal year in the life of the future 44th President of the United States, during which he developed the foundations for his views on race, government, and what it means to be American.”
Barry will be available on Netflix from Friday December 16th.
