WATCH: Woman Who Received Money From George Michael For IVF Appears on This Morning
The woman who received an anonymous donation from George Michael to find her IVF treatment has appeared on Tihs Morning to tell her story.
Following the death of the 53-year-old singer several stories have emerged of George Michael's generosity and charitable nature that he chose to keep quiet during his lifetime.
One story in particular was that of Jo Maidment and her IVF treatment.
Jo had appeared on This Morning years ago to explain her struggles with IVF treatment and how she had been refused treatment because her partner had already had a child with another woman.
At the time, George's PA Michelle called to anonymously donate the money needed for Jo's treatment. She was completely unaware that George Michael was the donor until her daughter Betsy was born following a second attempt at the treatment after their first try resulted in an unfortunate miscarriage.
